ABOUT JASON
Founder, Creative Coach, & Design Director, CPCC
I'm Jason Mills, a dyslexic thinking coach working with creative professionals who are tired of forcing their brains to work "normally."
I'm dyslexic. I've spent my entire life navigating systems that weren't built for how my mind works. And after 25+ years as a creative professional and years as a certified coach, I've learned how to help others do the same, without the exhaustion, self-doubt, and constant overcompensation.
How I Got Here
When I was young, I struggled in school. By 8th grade, my reading and writing were at a 3rd-grade level. I was diagnosed as "Learning Disabled" and sent to a boarding school where I felt trapped, unintelligent, and lost.
But here's what I learned later: I wasn't broken. The system just wasn't built for how my brain works.
For 25 years, I worked as a creative director and designer, building campaigns for global brands like ECCO, Booking.com, and KLM. I founded companies. I failed. I succeeded. Through all of it, my dyslexic thinking was constant.
Eventually, I realized: the skills that helped me succeed as a designer, spatial thinking, pattern recognition, big-picture vision, are the same skills that make dyslexic brains brilliant. But no one teaches you how to leverage them.
So I became a coach. I combined my creative background with Design Thinking and coaching methodologies to help other dyslexic minds stop fighting themselves and start working with how they actually think.
HOW I WORK
I don't believe in "fixing" dyslexic brains. I believe in understanding them.
My coaching combines:
Proven Assessment & Coaching Tools
I'm a Certified Co-Active Coach (CPCC) trained by the Co-Active Training Institute. We use their methodology alongside tools like the Saboteur Assessment (Positive Intelligence) to identify what's undermining your confidence, and CliftonStrengths to reveal your natural talents.
Walking Sessions
Dyslexic brains think better in motion. We walk (in Amsterdam, by phone globally, or virtually) because movement unlocks clarity. This isn't a gimmick, it's neuroscience.
Design Thinking for Coaching
Not generic workshops, these are coaching-specific Design Thinking frameworks. We use Miro boards to visualize your challenges spatially, test different approaches, prototype solutions, and iterate on what works. Perfect for how dyslexic minds process.
Gallup Frameworks
Access to additional tools and assessments that help us understand your unique patterns and build strategies that fit.
Systems That Fit Your Brain
No generic productivity hacks. We build tools and structures that work WITH how you think, informed by your strengths, saboteurs, and cognitive patterns—tested and refined
Fun facts:
Completed 3x Ironman + 2x Half-Ironman.
Rearranges furniture to reset his mind.
I coach people while walking — rain or shine — because movement sparks clarity (and better conversations)

WHAT I BELIEVE
You're not broken
Dyslexic thinking is a different operating system, not a deficit. We don't "fix" you—we help you understand and leverage how your brain works.
Systems should fit you
Traditional productivity advice assumes everyone's brain works the same. It doesn't. We build systems that fit YOUR cognitive patterns.
Movement matters
Dyslexic brains process better in motion. That's not a quirk, it's neuroscience. Walking coaching works.
A NOTE FROM ME
If you've spent your whole life feeling like you're doing things "wrong," like you're not keeping up, like everyone else got a manual you never received, I get it. I've been there.
Dyslexic thinking isn't a limitation. It's a different way of processing the world. And when you understand how your brain actually works, everything changes.
You stop apologizing. You stop overcompensating. You start building a life and work that fits how you actually think.
That's what we do together.
