What is Belong Project?

Belong Project is my coaching practice for creatives, leaders, neurodivergent thinkers, and overwhelmed achievers. I combine Co-Active coaching and design thinking to help you clear mental clutter, focus on what truly matters, and take practical steps toward a life and work you feel at home in.

Who do you work with?

I work with people who are bright and capable, but feel stuck, scattered, or overloaded. Many of my clients are creatives, founders, leaders, and neurodivergent thinkers such as ADHDers and dyslexic thinkers, as well as overwhelmed doers who want more clarity and calm without losing their edge.

How does your coaching work?

We meet regularly online or while walking, either in Amsterdam or virtually while you walk wherever you are. Sessions are a mix of deep conversation, practical planning, and design thinking tools. We look at your life and work as a whole system, then design experiments and simple structures that support the change you want.

Do you offer walking coaching sessions?

Yes. Many of my clients prefer to walk while we talk. If you are in Amsterdam, we can walk in person. If you live elsewhere, we connect online while you walk in your own neighborhood. Walking helps regulate your nervous system, opens up thinking, and makes it easier to talk about what really matters.

Do you use design thinking in your coaching?

Yes. I often use design thinking frameworks in our work together. We might map your ideas on a digital whiteboard like Miro, prototype different futures, or break big life and work questions into small, testable experiments. This approach is especially helpful for visual thinkers and people with a lot of ideas.

How much does coaching with Belong Project cost?

I currently offer two main programs. Option 1: a 4-month program with 8 sessions total for €3,000 plus VAT. Option 2: a 6-month program with 12 sessions total for €5,000 plus VAT. Payment details and schedule are agreed at the start of the program.

Where are you based and do you work internationally?

I am based in Amsterdam in the Netherlands and work with clients all over the world. Most coaching happens online, and I also offer in-person walking sessions in Amsterdam.

This Privacy Policy explains how Belong Project collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit belongproject.com or work with us as a coaching client.

Belong Project is a coaching practice operated by Mills Creative VOF, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We take your privacy seriously and handle your information in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

Belong Project is a coaching practice for dyslexic creative professionals, run by Jason Mills under Mills Creative VOF. Mills Creative VOF is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

Contact details such as your name, email address, and any message you send us through the website contact form or by email.

Booking information when you schedule a discovery call or session through our scheduling tool (Cal.com), including your name, email, and any details you share when booking.

Coaching information shared during our work together. This may include session notes, assessment results (such as Positive Intelligence Saboteur Assessment and CliftonStrengths), goals, milestones, and other context you choose to share.

Payment information processed by our payment provider. We do not store your card details on our servers.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the website, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited. This helps us understand how the site is used and improve it.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

Respond to your enquiries and provide the coaching services you have requested.

Schedule sessions and send confirmations or reminders.

Send you invoices and process payments.

Maintain continuity between coaching sessions through notes and context.

Send you occasional updates if you have asked to hear from us.

Improve the website and our services.

Meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Legal basis for processing

Under GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

Contract. To deliver coaching services you have engaged us for.

Consent. For marketing emails or where you have explicitly agreed to specific uses of your data. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Legitimate interests. For things like responding to enquiries, improving our website, and protecting against misuse.

Legal obligation. For keeping financial records and meeting tax requirements.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the practice, including:

Cal.com for scheduling.

Our email provider for sending and receiving messages.

Our payment processor for handling invoices and payments.

Our accountant for tax and bookkeeping purposes.

Hosting providers who store the website and related data.

These providers process your information on our behalf and are bound to protect it. Some may be based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Coaching confidentiality

Anything you share in coaching sessions is treated as confidential. We operate under the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, which sets a high standard for confidentiality and professional conduct in the coaching relationship.

Session notes are kept securely and used only to support our work together. We do not share the content of your sessions with anyone outside the coaching relationship, except where required by law or where you have given clear permission.

Cookies

The website uses cookies to function properly and to understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works for you.

If we use analytics or marketing cookies, you will see a cookie banner on your first visit asking for your consent.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes set out in this policy.

Enquiries and contact form messages are kept for up to two years.

Client records, including session notes and coaching context, are kept for the duration of our engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return to coaching, typically up to five years.

Financial and invoicing records are kept for seven years to meet Dutch tax obligations.

Marketing email subscribers are kept on the list until they unsubscribe.

After these periods, your information is securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.

Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal limits.

Restrict or object to certain uses of your information.

Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.

Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.

Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe we have not handled your information properly.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

Our services are not directed to people under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will let you know by email or a notice on the website.
